How to install peel-and-stick wallpaper

I originally thought it would only take me a few weeks to finish the room, but life got in the way and it took much longer. I learned so many new skills, like painting the ceiling with a roller for the first time, removing old shelves from the windows, trimming doors and windows, and installing wallpaper! Crown molding wasn't one of them as I asked a friend to help me out.

Without further ado, let me show you the final result, you can find the budget breakdown below.

Budget breakdown

Bed – we already had it

bed frame – $900

canopy – $130

IKEA dresser (find FBMP – $150)

Nightstands – (also FBMP finds – $70 for both)

Rug – $300

curtain rod – $40

curtains – $110

curtain rings $9

curtain holders – 25 dollars

Paint – 2 cans ($65 each)

Wall paper – $750

Crown – $250

Molding – $140

spring hooks – $30

bow buttons – $20

Golden buns (I already had them)

rabbit lamp – $240

Paintings – (thrifted) – probably around $60

Total: $3345

I hope I'm not forgetting anything. If I were to rent this entire room to renovate it, I'd probably spend an extra $3,000 to get it done. Hooray for DIY! Let's tackle the other rooms of the house!
